On August 28, after complications during vocal chord surgery at a clinic, Joan Rivers was rushed to Mount Sinai Hospital. Yesterday Melissa Rivers, Joan's daughter, released a statement announcing the fashion critics death. It read, “She passed peacefully at 1:17 PM surrounded by family and close friends.”
I loved Joan on Fashion Police! She had such an outspoken, fiery personality. She always had something witty to say and never really bit her tongue. Fashion Police will never be the same without her unexpected, yet humorous comments.
